Fireside Chats #88: Where we usher in the elimination party…

Episode #88
Hosts: Paul Testa, Tim Daloisio
Guests: none

With the Red Sox near sweep in New York, Paul and I were both ready to throw our hearts back in the ring for a true post-season push — late nights, obsessive conversations, adrenaline high — but Jonathan Papelbon did what 2010 Papelbon does and the season’s hope came to a grinding halt with yet another extra inning loss.

We break down a season that exceeded contextual expectations while still serving to frustrate fans on many levels. Then we look forward to the offseason. From Papelbon to Papi and Victor Martinez to Adrian Beltre, where does this team go from here?

All in all — thanks 2010 Boston Red Sox for having the heart of a champion.

All that and more on this episode of Fireside Chats.

Thanks for listening!
